Hello! I’m Shawn Jones. I’m a product design leader and mentor. I have over 14 years over experience leading diverse teams through complex problems.
I approach teams with empathy and a people-first focus. I approach product development and strategy with data-driven and impactful decision making for both the business and customer. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with a diverse set of brands including: ezCater, Copper Banking, Charles Schwab, IBM and the United States Navy. My background is eclectic, I’ve led and build products within these industries: financial services, food and beverage services, corporate catering, learning and education, and e-commerce.
I am an avid traveler and adventurer. I live in Colorado and it’s by far the most beautiful state to go on weekend getaways with the family. I enjoy hiking, skiing and wine and bourbon tasting.

Morale Welfare and Recreation Vice President. Created over 75 flyers, posters, and command function tickets including the command’s holiday balls. Organized all events and maintained budget for the committee.
Lean Six Sigma Processes Improvement Project. Conducted a two week Process Improvement review with a team to incorporate a design driven strategy to improve travel process for the overall organization. Created process maps, flow charts, and mapped out user experiences.
Assistant Leading Petty Officer. Supervised an office of 12 personnel. Made critical decisions during weekly meetings with office managers and processed monthly reports for the commanding officer. Reviewed all correspondence, awards, employee evaluations, and legal documents. Paid exceptional attention to details and multitasked in editing, writing, and reviewing correspondence through the office.
Lead Defense Travel Administrator and Government Travel Charge Card Coordinator. Organized all travel arrangements for 450 personnel including booking hotels, flights, transportation, and other necessities. Collected all debt, and managed government credit cards, passports, and visas for all personnel.
